Who operates Fantopy

Fantopy is operated by Benchwarmer Studios Pte. Ltd., a private limited company incorporated in Singapore (UEN 202539650Z). References to "Fantopy", "we", "us", or "our" in these Terms mean Benchwarmer Studios Pte. Ltd.

Acceptance of these Terms

By creating an account, signing in, or otherwise using Fantopy, you confirm that you have read these Terms and agree to be bound by them, and that you have read our Privacy Policy. If you are using Fantopy on behalf of another person or organisation, you confirm that you have authority to bind them to these Terms.

The service

Fantopy is a free football predictions app for World Cup 2026. You can make match score predictions, chat with an AI football manager, join private groups, and compare results on leaderboards. Fantopy is provided for entertainment and football discussion.

Fantopy is an independent product. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or officially connected to FIFA, any tournament organiser, federation, team, or player. References to the tournament and to teams or players are descriptive only.

Eligibility and restricted jurisdictions

You must be at least 13 years old to use Fantopy. If you are between 13 and 18 (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction), you may only use Fantopy with the involvement of a parent or guardian, and only where local law allows. You must not use Fantopy if you are barred from doing so under any applicable law.

Residents of certain jurisdictions may be restricted from using all or part of Fantopy due to local laws. You are responsible for ensuring that your use of Fantopy complies with the laws of the country and region where you are located. We may restrict access to Fantopy in any jurisdiction at our discretion.

Accounts and account deletion

You can use Fantopy anonymously on your device or by signing in with an email magic link. When you sign in, your account is identified by your email address and the account identifiers our authentication provider creates for you.

You are responsible for keeping access to your email account secure, for any activity that takes place under your Fantopy account, and for the accuracy of the information you provide. We may suspend or close an account if it is used in breach of these Terms.

Each individual may hold only one Fantopy account. Operating, sharing, or coordinating multiple accounts to gain an advantage in leaderboards or groups is not allowed, and we may close any accounts involved in this kind of behaviour.

You can delete your account at any time from Settings in the app, from the deletion page at fantopy.ai/account-deletion, or by emailing support@fantopy.ai from the address linked to your account. Deletion is handled in line with our Privacy Policy.

Free to play, no gambling, no prizes

Fantopy is free to play. You do not pay entry fees, and we do not accept wagers. Leaderboards are for entertainment, football debate, and bragging rights only. Fantopy does not offer cash prizes, real-money rewards, paid contests, cryptocurrency rewards, or betting products in this version.

Predictions, scoring, and game rules

You can submit predictions for upcoming matches in the relevant tournament. Predictions are scored against actual match results, and points contribute to your leaderboard standing.

• Predictions must be submitted before each round's deadline shown in the app.
• Scoring follows the rules shown in the in-app Game Rules screen at the time of the relevant match.
• Fixtures, results, and player data come from third-party sports data providers. Deadlines and scoring may be affected if provider data is delayed, corrected, or incomplete.
• We may correct obvious errors, reverse abusive activity, or adjust scoring if a third-party data feed is materially wrong. We will act in good faith and aim to be fair to all users.

AI manager disclaimer

The AI football manager is provided for entertainment, football discussion, and app navigation support. AI-generated responses may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unexpected. You are responsible for your own predictions and decisions.

The AI manager does not provide:

• Financial advice or investment advice.
• Betting advice, odds, or wagering recommendations.
• Official tournament information, official results, or guarantees of match outcomes.
• Medical, legal, or other professional advice.

If the AI manager produces something inappropriate, unsafe, incorrect, or broken, please report it using the in-app reporting flow or email support@fantopy.ai.

User content and conduct

You are responsible for content you submit to Fantopy, including predictions, group names, handles, chat messages, and any feedback. By submitting content, you confirm you have the right to do so and you grant Fantopy a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, process, and display that content for the purpose of operating and improving Fantopy.

You agree not to:

• Impersonate any other person or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or organisation.
• Harass, threaten, or abuse other users or our team.
• Submit illegal, hateful, sexual, exploitative, defamatory, or otherwise harmful content.
• Use Fantopy to promote betting, gambling, paid contests, scams, malware, or spam.
• Attempt to bypass rate limits, abuse the AI manager, or otherwise interfere with the security or integrity of Fantopy.
• Automate submissions, scrape non-public data, or reverse engineer the service, except to the extent expressly allowed by law.
• Use Fantopy in any way that violates these Terms, our community standards, or applicable law.

Reporting and moderation

If you encounter behaviour or content that you believe violates these Terms, please report it using the in-app reporting flow or email support@fantopy.ai. We will review reports in a reasonable time and may, at our discretion, take action such as removing content, restricting features, suspending an account, or closing an account. We may also take action without a report where we identify behaviour that breaches these Terms.

Intellectual property

The Fantopy name, the Fantopy logo, the Fantopy website and app design, our AI football manager characters, and the underlying software are owned by Benchwarmer Studios Pte. Ltd. or its licensors. Nothing in these Terms transfers any of those rights to you.

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a personal, limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use Fantopy for your personal, non-commercial enjoyment.

Team names, national flags, crests, player names, fixture data, and similar materials are used descriptively. Football fixtures, results, and player data are supplied to us under licence from third-party sports data providers, including Sportmonks. All such third-party material is the property of its respective owners. Fantopy is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any team, federation, player, tournament organiser, FIFA, Apple, or Google.

Third-party data and services

Fantopy relies on third-party providers including authentication, AI language and voice services, sports data feeds, analytics and diagnostics, and hosting. Those services may have their own terms and privacy practices. We are not responsible for the actions or omissions of third parties beyond our own use of their services.

If a third-party data feed is unavailable, delayed, or incorrect, parts of Fantopy may not work as expected. We will use reasonable efforts to keep the service running and to correct material errors where we can.

Availability and changes

We may add, change, suspend, or remove features at any time, including game modes, leaderboards, AI features, and third-party integrations. We may also schedule downtime for maintenance or experience outages outside our control. We will give reasonable notice for material changes that affect existing accounts where it is practical to do so.

We may update these Terms when the product or applicable law changes. The current version is the one published at fantopy.ai/terms, with the effective date shown at the top of this page. For material changes, we will notify you through the app or by email, and the changes will take effect at least 30 days after notice for existing accounts, except where shorter notice is required by law. Your continued use of Fantopy after the effective date of a new version means you accept the updated Terms.

Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Fantopy is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise. We do not warrant that Fantopy will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure against all attacks, or that AI-generated content will be accurate or suitable for any particular purpose.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or limit any rights you have under mandatory consumer protection laws in your country that cannot be excluded or limited by contract.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Benchwarmer Studios Pte. Ltd., its directors, officers, employees, and affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, goodwill, data, or other intangible losses arising out of or related to your use of Fantopy, whether under contract, tort, statute, or any other legal theory, and whether or not we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability arising out of or related to these Terms or your use of Fantopy will not exceed the greater of: (a) the amount you have paid to us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the liability, or (b) one hundred Singapore dollars (S$100). Because Fantopy is currently free to play, this amount will typically be S$100.

Nothing in this section excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

Termination

You can stop using Fantopy at any time. You can delete your account using the routes described in section 05.

We may suspend or terminate your access to Fantopy, in whole or in part, if you breach these Terms, if we are required to do so by law, or if we discontinue the service. Where reasonable and lawful, we will give you notice. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including Intellectual property, Disclaimers, Limitation of liability, and Governing law) will survive.

Governing law

These Terms and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them are governed by the laws of Singapore, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. You and Benchwarmer Studios Pte. Ltd. agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore for the resolution of any such dispute or claim, except where applicable law gives you the right to bring proceedings in your home jurisdiction and that right cannot be excluded.

General provisions

Entire agreement. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any in-app rules or additional terms we reference, form the entire agreement between you and Benchwarmer Studios Pte. Ltd. relating to Fantopy and supersede any prior agreement on the same subject.

Severability. If any part of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the rest will continue in full force.

No waiver. If we do not enforce a right or provision of these Terms, that is not a waiver of that right or provision.

Assignment. You may not assign or transfer these Terms or your account. We may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, reorganisation, or sale of assets, or by operation of law, on notice to you.

Force majeure. We are not liable for any delay or failure to perform caused by events outside our reasonable control, including network outages, third-party service failures, natural disasters, or acts of government.

Third-party platforms. If you use Fantopy through Apple's App Store or Google Play, additional terms from Apple or Google may apply to your use of the app, in addition to these Terms.
